Today Mrs. Taylor and I received the "Academy Newsletter."
I note the honor that is being given my 1925 Relay Team. Such wonderful memories it brought to both of us.
I can assure you no other four students ever gave greater publicity to the Academy. They were wonderful young men. It grieves us that they cannot be there to receive the honor.
Due to the fact they were in private school, they had to compete in the Junior College Class. They set relay records in 1925 at Texas Relays, then Rice U. and then in the National Relays at Kansas University.
We are so happy you are going to honor them. They were always a credit to the Academy.
God bless you and your great school that we love so much.
